These 2 video were taken on the second floor overlooking an inner courtyard. The accompanying music was forlornly played by a soloist, who was then, the only remaining inhabitant. We did not see him in person, although we stood right beside him on the other side of the wall that separated us from one another.
The music longed to be heard, a yearning appeal for recognition and help. This tulou is unique amongst the Princes and Kings of Tulous, mysterious in its unknown story, amazing in its former grandeur, impressive in the height of its rammed earth walls, sophisticated in its plan and shape, surprising in its palatial zeal, sad in its present state of neglect, and dangerous in its present state of deterioration. It needs your support to appreciate, recognize, rescue and protect it.
